Waxed Amaryllis bulbs do not require any water because the bulbs contain all the water and nutrients they need to flower. Simply place them on a tabletop or any other flat surface in your home. They make for great hearth and centerpiece decoration and are equally wonderful to give as gifts!

These spectacular flowers don't need potting soil or heavy care – everything they need is contained in the wax bulb they are delivered in, including their water supply.

Once in your home or office, you can leave these Waxed Amaryllis Bulbs just as they are, and have a perfectly placed plant that needs no watering, no direct sunlight, and still looks great. They will literally bloom right in front of your very eyes.

CARE

Waxed Amaryllis bulbs do not require any water because the bulbs contain all the water and nutrients they need to flower.

Every bulb grows at its own rate. There is no way of controlling when they will actually bloom. Waxed Amaryllis bulbs usually grow two stems over 4-5 weeks, producing multiple flowers per stem over the next 3-4 weeks. Blooms should be expected in 8 to 9 weeks after purchase. Some can take even a little longer, around 10 – 12 weeks.

We always recommend trimming withered blooms to promote further growth and to keep the Amaryllis in a well-lit room but avoid direct sunlight. Giving the bulb plenty of natural light will stimulate growth. Rotate it every couple of days to help it grow straighter. Be careful not to expose the bulbs to freezing conditions.

While every effort has been made to describe these plants accurately, please note that the height, bloom time, bloom count and color may differ in various climates.

AFTERCARE

Saving and replanting your Waxed Amaryllis bulb is a little trickier and not guaranteed to work, but it has been done before (with success!). Watch this helpful video from Mark Viette on how to extract and plant the bulb:

All orders placed will be shipped within one to three business days. If you place an order after 10am EST on Friday, it’s likely your order will not ship until the following Monday. We do not ship on weekends or U.S. holidays.
Please note that any delivery “promises” that are made, are made by our carrier partners. Delivery dates are always merely an estimate. Please understand that we do not personally deliver the orders that are placed with us, and we have no control over the delivery schedule, which, depending on the time of the year, may often be delayed due to weather. Sometimes, depending on when orders arrive here, we make decisions to hold back orders, to ship them at the beginning of the week, especially if we know there are severe weather conditions that are delaying shipments. If you have a special reason, why we should ship your order as soon as we receive it, please communicate that need to us in the comments section at checkout, and we will try our best to accommodate your request.

We do this to avoid having the bulbs (which are sensitive to cold and will die when they freeze) spend a weekend on a shipping truck or in a shipping depot. Some of our carriers do not deliver on weekends. As soon as the shipping labels have been created by us, you will receive an email to alert you and to share the tracking numbers with you. At that point, we encourage you to track your shipment, so that you have up to date information.

Open package immediately after receipt. Check if the correct item has been delivered on arrival. If the wrong item has been delivered or if there is an issue with your order, please contact us as soon as possible, within 2 days of receipt, by replying to the order confirmation you received from us. While every effort is made to ship bulbs exactly as ordered, when some varieties and sizes are not available, substitutions as close to your order as possible may be made.

Amaryllis bulbs are perishable live plants. Bloomaker cannot be held responsible for any damages to bulbs when they have been reshipped by you to another address.

Bloomaker is not responsible for lost or stolen packages that the carrier has marked as ''delivered.''
