Remove all packaging material. Carefully place half of the pumice in the bottom of the container. Place the amaryllis bulb into the container to rest on top of the pumice.
Gently twist the bulb from side to side to set the bulb into the pumice. Add just enough water to the container to reach the roots of the amaryllis bulb. We suggest approximately 1/2 cup. Adding a small amount of water weekly, is more than enough throughout the growing cycle. Take care not to over-water.
Place additional pumice in the container, around the bulb. Add moss to cover the pumice. Place container in indirect light.
Be careful not to expose the bulbs to freezing conditions.
